Welcome, journeyer. At Journey Home Vitals, we understand that choosing to walk toward your most integral wellness is a sacred act. When you access our Vitals by donation, you are entering into a relationship with us — and we do not take that lightly.

This Privacy & Sacred Data Policy is our covenant with you: a clear, honest account of what information we gather, how we tend it, and the sovereignty you hold over every piece of it. We have written it in the spirit of W.i.s.dom — that wellness, interconnection, and sovereignty are not gifts we grant you, but your birthright, which we are here to honor.

When you access Vitals by donation through Journey Home Vitals, we may collect:

• Your name, as you choose to share it with us
• Your email address, for the purpose of connection and delivery of resources
• Your IP address and browser user agent string (gathered automatically to support secure delivery of our digital offerings and assist in spam protection)
• Donation transaction information, processed through our secure third-party payment facilitator
• Any information you voluntarily offer when you comment, correspond, or engage in our community spaces

We gather only what is necessary to serve your journey. We do not harvest what is not freely given.

Your information is tended — not traded. We use what you share to:

• Deliver the Vitals, resources, and community connection you have come seeking
• Send our WELL Earth-Wide e-news — windows into our world, eureka moments, land-it action steps, and link-up connection opportunities — when you have chosen to receive it
• Improve the coherence and integrity of the Journey Home Vitals experience
• Fulfill legal and administrative obligations that arise in the course of operating our fellowship foundation

We do not sell, rent, or barter your personal information to any third party. Journey Home Vitals is a branch of Wellsprings of Umoja, an egalitarian faith-based 508c1a not-for-profit fellowship foundation. Our mission is to restore faith in hue'm'nity — not to monetize your identity.

Like most digital spaces, Journey Home Vitals uses cookies — small files that settle into your browser to help remember your choices and ease your return visits. These cookies serve practical purposes:

• If you leave a comment on our site, a cookie remembers your name and email for one year, so you need not re-enter them on your next visit.
• When you log in, cookies preserve your session for two days (or two weeks if you select "Remember Me") and carry your display preferences for one year. These are cleared when you log out.
• A temporary, data-free cookie is set upon login-page visits to confirm your browser is cookie-ready. It dissolves when you close your browser.
• If you publish or edit content, a short-lived cookie notes the article's ID for one day.

None of these cookies contain sensitive personal data, and none are used for advertising or cross-site tracking. They are tools of convenience, not surveillance.

Some of our offerings include content embedded from other waters on the web — videos, images, and linked materials. When you interact with embedded content, that third-party platform may collect data about you, use their own cookies, and track your interaction in accordance with their own policies.

We recommend that you move through the web with awareness, as any W.i.s.e journeyer would. Where possible, we note when content originates from another source.

An anonymized string (a hash) derived from your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to display a profile image in comment spaces. Gravatar's privacy policy governs that exchange and can be reviewed at automattic.com/privacy.

Journey Home Vitals is a digital amplifying branch of Wellsprings of Umoja. Within our fellowship, only stewards with direct need — those tending the delivery of your Vitals, correspondence, or platform integrity — have access to your information.

In the event you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset communication for security purposes. This is the extent of any such necessary sharing.

We do not partner with advertisers. We do not allow brands to pay for placement in your journey. Journey Home Vitals is a sacred space for tending — not a marketplace.

Comments and their accompanying metadata are held indefinitely, so that we may recognize and tend to your ongoing engagement in our community spaces without repeatedly placing you in a moderation queue.

If you create an account with us, the personal information you provide in your profile remains for as long as your account is active — and you hold the power to see, edit, and delete it at any time. The exception is information we are legally or administratively required to retain.

Sovereignty is not a concept we use lightly at Journey Home Vitals. It is one of the three pillars of W.i.s.dom. And it applies here, fully.

You have the right to:

• Request a complete export of the personal data we hold for you
• Request that we erase any personal data in our keeping that you have not consented to retain
• Opt out of our WELL Earth-Wide e-news at any time, via the unsubscribe link in any message or by writing to us directly
• Update or correct any personal information held in your account profile

To protect the integrity of our community spaces, visitor comments may pass through an automated spam detection service. This is a safeguard for the wellbeing of our whole community, not a means of surveillance or data collection beyond what is stated in this policy.

As Journey Home Vitals grows and evolves, so too may the ways we tend this digital space. When significant changes are made to this policy, we will make note of them visibly and invite you to read what has shifted. Your continued access to Vitals by donation following any update constitutes your acknowledgment of those changes.
