Freeing Styles for Spiraling hair Ebook

written by Ife ShepsuMa’at, Head Guide of WellU

Every curl, coil, and lock

carries its own unique character.

When we honor those natural patterns,

understand their needs, and treat them with the care they deserve, the result can be nothing short of glorious.

Why this E-book?

Screaming, crying, fighting.

For every person with hair that spirals (or for parents of those youth), this is often the reality (or memory of a childhood experience) that reoccurs every couple of weeks or so when it’s time to manage hair.

Spiraling, wild hair that doesn’t want to lay straight, bend accordingly, that wants to be wild. It’s an hours long battle and only the strongest survives with hair that isn’t permed, hot combed, or cut off.

This was definitely my memory and definitely a generational trauma that I did NOT want to repeat. So when it was my turn to manage my own hair and that of my posterity, I approached it as I do everything – systematically. I observed other people’s hair who seemed to have found solutions, asked questions, studied, and eventually I came to two different but very easeful styles that not only make managing spiraling hair a much more gentle process but also supports the sovereignty that is so core to my values.

With the 2 styles presented in this e-book, those with spiraling hair can be free – can go in an out of water as much they please with either none or very little maintenance before or after. Can wake up and go play without having to micro manage little hairs sticking out from carefully brushed and gelled ponytails and buns. These are truly styles for freedom and so I couldn’t not present them to my people.

Dynamic Equitable Access: A Flexible, Community‑Driven Exchange

What “Access – Equitably & Dynamically (AED)” Means

At its core, AED is a conversation‑first platform that lets anyone tap into the resources we offer—whether that’s a service, a product, or a piece of expertise. You don’t need to have money, skills, time, or energy right now; you only need the genuine intention to contribute at some point, either now or later – whenever you’re able.

  • Money, skill, time, or future value – all are welcome as forms of reciprocity.
  • Authenticity drives the exchange: we match what you bring (or plan to bring) with what we all need.

How It Works Today (Analog Phase)

  1. Reach Out – Tell us what you’d like to access and what you can offer now or in the future.
  2. We Respond – We’ll share what we currently need and what we can provide you in return.
  3. Build the Relationship – The exchange evolves as your capacity grows and as our community’s needs shift.

Because we’re still scaling our technical infrastructure, we’re deliberately keeping the process simple and human‑centered. Think of it as a dynamic collective barter that respects each participant’s timeline.

The Roadmap to a Transparent, Blockchain‑Based System

  • Technology Ready – The underlying blockchain framework exists on Sarafu.Network.
  • Future Goal – Replicate that smart‑contract layer on our own site, enabling fully automated, auditable exchanges.
  • Current Limitation – We lack the development bandwidth to embed the full solution yet, so we operate in an analog mode while we grow our contributor base.

The Two Growing Pools

Pool Purpose Funding Source
Trust Pool Provides “future‑commitment” credits for members who can’t contribute now but intend to later. The first half of 10 % of every dollar we earn (see below).
Zero‑Interest Loan Pool Offers short‑term, interest‑free loans that can be repaid incrementally, expanding borrowing power over time. The other half of the same 10 % allocation.

Both pools expand proportionally to the contributions we receive, creating a self‑reinforcing ecosystem of support.

The 10 % Reciprocity Engine

For every dollar generated by our activities, 10 % is earmarked for the two pools above. This slice of revenue is reserved exclusively for members who:

  • Seek future reciprocity – they may need a service now and promise to give back later, or
  • Want unrestricted access – they wish to withdraw funds for any personal purpose beyond our core services.

Only members within our circle can draw from these reserves, but the model is designed to scale globally as the community expands.

To learn more about our Access Pools, check out this blog post.

How to Get Involved

  1. Message Us – Let us know what you’d like to access and what you can contribute (now or later).
  2. Explore the Fit – We’ll match your request with current needs or future opportunities.
  3. Start the Conversation – From there, we’ll co‑design a mutually beneficial exchange that respects your timeline and our collective goals.

In Closing

AED isn’t just a payment method—it’s a philosophy of trust, flexibility, and shared growth. As our trust and loan pools mature, the system will transition to a fully transparent blockchain implementation, guaranteeing fairness and accountability for everyone involved.

If you’re intrigued and want to experience a truly dynamic, equitable exchange for any of our services, reach out now. Let’s start the conversation and build the future together.

Huestory

Another way of writing the word “history” or “herstory” that is making the following points:

We are all hue’s on a beautiful earth spectrum: rich soil, golden clay, and warm sand.

We are all children of the womb. The womb as a Sacralizing Source is based in the experience we all had being gestated by the fruits of a woman and a man’s union and is, thus, an equalizing force.

Wellness that blooms from within.

A wellsprings in nature blooms from the earth, that why we use this metaphor in this regard. We also think that something that blooms from within is also the very definition of a sovereign act. So, for this reason, we consider the Wellspring the embodiment of sovereign wellness.

Spectrum of Hue’m’nity

Another way to write the word: “humanity” that is communicating two points:

Hue:

We are all people of color. A beautiful earth spectrum of rich soil, golden clay, and warm sand.

‘M’N / “Am in.”

We can choose to anchor into the creation imprint of our original gestation: being nourished within the wholeness of the womb and co-create a reality where we are held within a womb-like wholeness in this moment.
