Theese cheese bites are inspired by pau de quijo, the Brazilian street food that we have grown to love as a family. With soured tapioca starch, ample fat, eggs, and cheese, and baked to perfection – these cheese bites are already jam packed with nutrients and are a great savory quick meal that almost anyone will enjoy.
To this recipe we’ve added ingredients to spread out the tapioca starch with some whole food, vitamin b and phytonutrient rich blue corn masa harina. We also added some home made calcium powder from venison bones and freeze dried venison liver.
It’s an understatement when I say the kids love these! Like we literally have to fight to get any. And they are so satisfying and simple to make. So try them out and let us know how it goes!
